Business meetings are open to all members of the Fredericksburg, VA Branch. These are generally held on the second Monday of the month at 7:30 pm via Zoom from September through May. A Zoom link will be sent to all Branch members the week before our scheduled meeting.

Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm of our AAUW-VA Branch members, the
AAUW-VA Board of Directors approved an increase in our budget for the
Reclaim Our Vote (ROV) postcard writing campaigns for the upcoming primary
election on June 17 and the general election on November 4. With elections
for Governor, LT Governor, Attorney General and all 100 seats in the General
Assembly this is a very important election indeed. But isn’t every one?

This year’s conference was a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Virginia’s AAUW chapter.

Fredericksburg was represented by Margaret Mi, Janet Hedrick, and Vicki Meadows at the state conference.
To recognize this milestone, each state branch donated 100+ items to local charities. The Fredericksburg branch collected feminine hygiene products for school girls in grades 5 through 12 to be distributed at School Dressing Days in July 2025.
